Blogging Begins

I work for a small software house. We produce a SaaS (Software as a Service ) TMS ( Transportation Management System ).
My boss, Jerry. has asked all members of the dev team to write a paragraph about what we accomplished every day at the end of the day.
I can't just do that. I'm forgetful, I don't like to brag. So I plan to track my activities throughout the day and then summarize them at the end of the day. Here goes.

Day One: 2019-07-25

9:00 - 9:43 CFC settlement

9:45 - 10:00 Standup meeting.

10:05 AM Starting blogging my daily activities:
Working on CFC custom driver settlement. I'm having to relearn how to do this,
which is part of why I don't have a completion estimate.
I have only done one custom settlement, that was VFJ in October 2018.
I'm using VFJs as guide currently.

10:26 AM Amy found a zipcode bug in the Appian import. Looking at that now.
10:34 found a copy/paste typo - uploaded the fix to CFC on Buffalo

10:35 Back to settlement, now where was I?

10:40 Amy found another bug - a time zone bug. Investigating.
10:57 The importer is changing the time zones of accounts to UTC
The bug seems to be in the JSON importer. Jason said we may need to look at that. But not now.

10:59 Back to settlement...

11:24 - 11:34 Back and forth with Amy about import stop times

11:35 settlement...

11:41 - 11:45 Brandon complained about BTW ( BOLT Tandem Workflow ) lag. I explained the problem is on Eleos' end

11:47... lunch

12:04 checked BOLT email
responded to Eleos and set up an eleostech.zendesk account

12:20 settlement...

1:20 btw conference with Jerry, Gale, and Brandon
discussed live BTW testing in El Paso

1:56 settlement...

2:11 PM Amy reports an Appian PO bug. Investigating
2:40 uploaded the fix to Buffalo

2:43 PM Brandon found a bug in the BTW login script. lowercase doesn't work
3:00 El Paso stop arrive in crashing in BTW
3:45 altered El Paso's live.tblActivities - added missing column

3:47 rechecking my latest Appian changes
3:54 test passed - Looks good
3:55 - 3:57 pushing Appian changes to the repo

3:58 back to BTW - the lowercase login issue
4:03 - 4:13 edited SQL statement and uploaded the changes to Buffalo

4:14 settlement...

4:45 EOD ( End Of Day )

The Summary:

I don't feel like anything got accomplished. In a paragraph
I would say I fixed 3 Appian bugs and 2 Tandem Workflow bugs.
I got part of the way through CFC custom settlement. As a percent, I would guess 50%
I'm setting up a script to test my custom code in isolation from core. I'll know more tomorrow after I get back from my 8:30 doctor appt.
